Lashachi Inc. ("Lashachi," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy.This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use MotorAttend, a mobile application designed to help you maintain a personal vehicle logbook, record vehicle-related memories, and track follow-up actions.MotorAttend is designed around local device storage and user control.This policy describes the app's current functionality. Features that may be introduced in future releases will be addressed through updates to this policy before they become available.
1. Information You Enter into MotorAttend
Account Information
When you create or use a TriedThat account, we may collect information necessary to authenticate and maintain your account, including:• your email address;
• authentication and verification information; and
• an internal account identifier associated with your account.TriedThat currently uses email-based authentication. Authentication emails, such as verification or one-time-code messages, are transactional and are sent to provide access to your account.
Depending on the features you use, MotorAttend may allow you to record:• Vehicle details, such as make, model, year, and identifying information you choose to enter.
• Vehicle logbook entries, including fuel purchases, oil changes, maintenance, cleaning, costs, dates, and odometer readings.
• Personal notes and memories about your vehicle.
• Photographs selected or captured by you.
• Follow-up actions, target dates, completion status, and resolution notes.
• Other information you voluntarily enter into the app.You decide what information to record.We recommend avoiding unnecessary sensitive personal information in your entries.
2. Local Device Storage
MotorAttend currently stores your vehicle records, memories, photographs, and related information locally on your device.The current application does not require a MotorAttend user account.Lashachi Inc. does not currently operate a customer cloud-storage service for MotorAttend records.Information stored locally may remain on your device until you delete it, remove the application, or otherwise manage the device's storage.Deleting the application may permanently remove locally stored records, depending on your device and operating system.
3. Backup and Restore
MotorAttend provides a user-controlled backup and restore feature.You may create a ZIP backup containing your vehicle records, memories, and locally stored photographs.When you export a backup, you choose how and where to save or share the file using available device functions.Backups may be stored in locations or services selected by you, including third-party cloud storage providers.Important: Exported ZIP backups are not currently encrypted by MotorAttend. Anyone who obtains access to a backup file may be able to read its contents.You are responsible for protecting your exported backups and selecting appropriate storage locations.Lashachi Inc. does not automatically receive a copy of your exported backup.Restoring a backup may replace existing application records. You should review the confirmation messages before proceeding.
4. Device Permissions
MotorAttend may request access to device features needed for functions you choose to use, such as:• Camera access when capturing photographs.
• Photo-library access when selecting existing photographs.
• File access when importing or exporting backups.These permissions are used to support the requested functionality.You can manage applicable permissions through your device settings.The precise permissions requested may vary by device, operating system, and app version.
5. Information We Do Not Currently Collect Through the App
Under the current local-first MVP design, MotorAttend does not require:• Registration for a MotorAttend account.
• Uploading your vehicle records to Lashachi-hosted cloud storage.
• Synchronizing your vehicle records with Lashachi servers.
• Sharing your vehicle logbook or personal memories with other users.This does not mean that your device operating system or third-party services you independently use are unable to process information.
6. Subscriptions and Advertising
MotorAttend may introduce optional paid features and advertising in a future version.Planned features may include:• A paid Plus subscription.
• Subscription purchase and entitlement verification through app-store and subscription-management services.
• Advertising in the free version.These services are not currently implemented in the MVP described by this policy.Before introducing them, Lashachi Inc. will review and update this Privacy Policy to explain the applicable service providers, information processed, purposes, and available privacy choices.We will not describe a planned service as active until it has been implemented.
7. Third-Party Services
MotorAttend may interact with services selected or operated by you, such as:Your device's operating system.• Camera and photo-management services.
• File-sharing applications.
• Backup destinations you choose.Third-party services may process information under their own privacy policies.Lashachi Inc. does not control the privacy practices of independent third-party services.
8. Information Security
MotorAttend is designed to minimize the need to transmit personal vehicle records to Lashachi Inc.However, no device, software application, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.You should:• Protect your device using appropriate security settings.
• Keep your device and operating system updated.
• Store exported backup files securely.
• Avoid sharing backup files with unauthorized individuals.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Vehicle records and related information are stored locally under the current app design.You can manage records using the available app features.Removing the app may remove locally stored information, subject to device and operating-system behaviour.Exported backups are separate files. Deleting records from MotorAttend does not automatically delete backup copies stored elsewhere.Lashachi Inc. generally cannot retrieve, modify, or delete records that exist only on your device or in storage locations you control.
10. Children's Privacy
MotorAttend is intended for general vehicle owners and users, not specifically for children.The application is not designed to knowingly solicit personal information from children.Any age-related eligibility requirements for future paid services will be addressed before those services launch.
11. International Users
Lashachi Inc. is based in Canada.The app's local-storage design means that your records ordinarily remain on your device unless you choose to export or share them.As a result, information may be subject to the laws of jurisdictions outside your province, state, or country of residence.If you use third-party storage or sharing services, information may be processed in other jurisdictions according to those providers' practices.
12. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, which may include rights to request access, correction, or deletion.For privacy requests, contact us at [email protected].We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
13. Age Eligibility
MotorAttend is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older.We do not knowingly offer MotorAttend to or collect personal information through the service from individuals under 18. If we learn that personal information has been collected through a MotorAttend account belonging to an individual under 18, we will take reasonable steps to address the account and information in accordance with applicable law.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when MotorAttend's features, technology, legal obligations, or information-handling practices change.When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or by other appropriate means where required.
